Stand next to your car, press a key, and watch it get cleaned. CES WashCar is a lightweight, fully standalone car wash script with a custom pressure-gauge HUD, a server-side cooldown, and dirt that builds up from real driving. No ESX, no QBCore, no database — drop it in and go.
Why you'll like it
- Fully standalone — works on any server, no framework or inventory needed.
- Keybind + command — /washcar or a key (default E). Players can rebind it themselves in Settings → Key Bindings → FiveM.
- Custom gauge HUD — an animated pressure-gauge progress display (NUI), not a plain text prompt.
- Synced for everyone — the server stamps each wash, and nearby players see the vehicle clean up too.
- Server-side cooldown — each vehicle has its own cooldown, timed by the server so it's the same for every player.
- Dirt from real driving — vehicles gradually get dirty based on distance actually driven, on top of the dirt level GTA already gave them. Parked cars stay as they are.
- Smart checks — engine must be off if someone's sitting in a running car, washing cancels if you walk away, you must be on foot, and key mashing is debounced.
- Clean shutdown — restarting the resource mid-wash won't leave animations or particles stuck on anyone's screen.
- Easy config — distance, duration, key, cancel distance, cooldown and dirt settings all live in config.lua.
How it works
- Get out of the vehicle and stand next to it (default range 3 m).
- Press the keybind or type /washcar.
- The washing animation plays while the gauge fills (default 8 seconds). Press Backspace to cancel.
- The vehicle is cleaned for everyone, and that vehicle's cooldown starts.
Requirements
- A FiveM server (game build with state bag support — any current server artifact).
- No other resources required.
- The gauge HUD loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so players' game clients need internet access to see the intended typefaces (a default font is used otherwise).
Installation
- Put the CES_WashCar folder in your resources directory.
- Add ensure CES_WashCar to your server.cfg.
- Edit config.lua to taste and restart.
